Worker dead after incident at Garmin construction site in Olathe

A high-pressure valve ruptured and killed one person at the site of Garmin’s expansion on Monday. According to the Olathe Fire Department, the person was working on the valve located near the loading docks behind 1210 E. 151st Street when it exploded around 2:15 p.m.
