8-10 Inches of Heavy Clump

Bringing you the ever-useful conditions report from yesterday. Early winter snow has been coming in strong in the Northeast so far as we approach solar cycle minimum. Yesterday at Stowe featured a thick, heavy layer of fresh clump with a very high moisture content. Oatmeal turns. Yours truly in early season form managed barely 5 runs and was done before 11am, what little stamina may have existed was severely exacerbated by rusty technique and frequent cases of "getting bucked".
We're not used to such dense coverage so early in the season tho, so we're not complaining!
