Cincinnati Police ask for help with infant homicide case

Cincinnati police have determined the death of 15-month-old Elijah Obrecht Jr., who died July 5 in the Christ Hospital emergency room, was a homicide. According to an online obituary, Obrecht Jr. was the son of Faith Phifer and Elijah Obrecht. He arrived at Christ Hospital the night of July 5 from a Sinton Avenue home in Walnut Hills. Anyone with information about the circumstances of Obrecht Jr.’s death should call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
