Slovakia is the latest country to reject the Global Pandemic Treaty being promoted by the WHO. The international health organization hopes to have its 194 members agree to update the international health regulations in May 2024.

The treaty would allow the WHO to control the pandemic response policies of member states. This would include mandating vaccines and prohibiting some medical treatments.

Fortunately, more countries are beginning to oppose the authoritarian proposals. It has been rejected by Estonia, New Zealand, and Slovakia. More countries are likely to follow.
