Looking ahead for the next Star Wars content is like looking across a cemetery. In 2024, Lucasfilm will be giving up the Acolyte and Skeleton Crew, two shows that hardly inspired excitement and hype. Heading into next year, one thing is evident: OG Star Wars is still great, but Disney Star Wars is a dead brand. Nothing coming to get excited for, including the next upcoming film featuring Rey.
