Apparently She Kicks As Well As She Roars

Katy Perry was holding a concert in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 24, when a bunch of blow-up balls were unleashed into the crowd below. Standard issue props at concerts nowadays. Naturally, when someone sees a ball in front of them, they get the urge to kick it, right? So did Katy.Show more

However, she accidentally kicked the ball right in the face of a person filming the show. It even knocked their phone out of their hands!

Here’s what the (un)lucky concert goer had to say about it: "I wasn't even planning on going to the Katy Perry concert in Salt Lake City this week. Some friends offered to sell me tickets at the last minute! I bought them not realizing that they were great seats! We ended up on the floor, right next to the stage.

“The show was awesome, and I could tell when the finale was happening because there was a lot of buildup! The final song before the encore was 'Roar', so I pulled out my phone! I started recording when I saw her walking closer to where we were standing. Out of nowhere there were these huge giant blow up eyeballs that were on the stage. Some people were throwing them around, but one landed right by Katy and she kicked it!

“I didn't realize that she was kicking it right at my face until it was too late. The ball hit me right square in the face and knocked my phone out of my hands. I was so shocked and started laughing hysterically. Everyone around me asked me if I was okay and I was just laughing uncontrollably."

An eye for an eye, maybe?
