No Friends = GAINS

The definition of 'friends' varies depending on who you talk to so let me clarify: there are lots of ppl in my life that I consider 'friends' that I see around, stay in touch with, and maybe meet up with once in a while but overall I spend the majority of my days riding solo dolo = basically no friends.

I'm not saying you need to get rid of all your friends to make some gains. But the discipline, habits, and lifestyle required to build some serious muscle - may require you to make a few social changes. Not everyone will understand or be supportive of why the gym is so important to you. And this is fine, everyone has their own interests and in life.

**Personally, I've found this to spread to other aspects of life too not just fitness.

Who you hang around with has a huge impact on your mentality and life trajectory in general. Being a lone wolf doesn't feel great, its not exactly FUN, but it may be necessary for a time in order to change or progress towards something or a different life for yourself.

I think it is inevitable for everyone at some point to face the dilemma of remaining part of the group, fitting in, keeping your friends, OR carving your own path, going for what you want, and becoming an individual. It truly is a balance, as community and relationships are the spice of life and no lifestyle, success, or achievement would be deeply fulfilling without it.
