"We Didn't Start The Series" Star Trek TNG Fox 23 Commercial Trailer (Billy Joel Parody)

This is an amazing Star Trek The Next Generation TV commercial. Fox 23 was announcing that TNG would be airing in syndication on their network. Someone put together a parody of Bill Joel's "We didn't start the fire" over TNG clips. When I first saw this, I thought it was just something someone edited together, but no, it's real. It really aired as a tv promo for TNG when it came to Fox 23.

I remember watching TNG in syndication when I was a kid. The station I watched it on must have got a deal, because it always aired at 10 PM. So I would have to watch it the volume real low so my parents didn't yell at me for watching too much TNG. Hmm...maybe they were on to something since I'm editing this TNG trailer at almost midnight. Also like 30 years later. Oh well, what a great TV show!
