Senate GRILLS FBI Chief Wray as Terrorism Grows Closer to America's Borders | 12/5/23

During the hearing, Wray alerted Congress that terror threat levels are at an all-time high since the attacks in Israel on October 7. Senator Lindsey Graham criticized Wray for what he saw as a lack of protection at the southern border. Senator Bob Menendez reportedly had four gold bars at his home that were previously stolen from real estate tycoon Fred Daibes, a fundraiser accused of bribing Menendez. The FBI, during a June 2022 raid, found gold with serial numbers matching those reported stolen by Daibes after a 2013-armed robbery, linking the recovered gold directly to Daibes. President Biden's climate envoy, John Kerry, is facing scrutiny for a potential emission of his own during a recent climate change talk in Dubai over the weekend. While passionately advocating for the removal of coal-fueled power plants in the U.S., Kerry seemed to unleash a personal brand of eco-friendly gas. Later, in another discussion, Kerry attempted humor by drawing a comparison between democracy and sex, explaining why he remains optimistic about governments tackling global warming. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, currently in a runoff election for the Houston mayoral seat, released a new ad that appears to have made an unforced error, potentially affecting her chances of winning.
