Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes. It holds 10% of the world's surface fresh water. It is shared by Ontario, Canada, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Lake Superior drains into Lake Huron via St. Mary's River.
