here's a little story I made for this:

"Everywhere you go death will follow. if you retreat, you will be shot by your commanders. if you press forward, you will be dropped dead on the ground the moment you step on that battlefield. either it's on a plane in a sky, a tank on the ground, a ship at sea, or a soldier in a bunker. It will never be enough. I may survive today. but I maybe dead the next day. week. or month. I just don't know. all I know is that death will wait for you. and after what I have seen. Death will follow."
