Putin Calls for Large Russian Families

Putin announced last Tuesday that the state of Russia would like its citizens to build large families. The Russian ruler even announced that 5-8 children should be the standard. While Western media outlets are using this remark as proof that the war in Ukraine is bleeding Russian manpower, I believe there is a deeper story. This can be a sign of two things. First, a violent aversion to western ideology. Second, Putin senses a major conflict is coming between Russia and the United States, hence anticipating the need for women to have more children to compensate for the bloody conflict that will be known as World War III.
