Randy shows a two barrel/fore end laminate stocked rifle he made for a client in .338 Win. and .416 Ruger on a Ruger 77 Mark II action, left hand Both barrels are equipped with a muzzle brakes machined into the barrels, as with an 8 lb rifle, they will be needed to handle the kick. Both barrels are equipped with sights The action is double square bridge action to accept Ruger rings. As always, Randy recommends a scope for each barrel/caliber, with Q. D. rings, so the scope will be sighted in for the particular barrel/caliber, for no fuss transfer. This set is sufficient for taking nearly all game that any hunter would like to harvest. This is a Boyd’s laminated rosewood stock [well, two stocks, as we needed the second one for the second fore end].
As with all multi-barrel takedown rifles, the calibers must be of the same case head size to fit the bolt.
See this video on how the takedown for instructions on how it is “taken down” and reassembled.
