George Higginbotham, a former Justice Department employee, was involved in a conspiracy with Jho Low, the illegitimate son of CCP kleptocrats Meng Jianzhu, to try to deport Mr. Guo Wengui back to China. He is said to have made $41 million as a result. Although Higginbotham pleaded guilty to this in 2018, he received a lenient plea deal and went largely unpunished.
