Delicious Recipes
I'll break down each breakfast recipe for you:
1. Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
1 cup strawberries (can be fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup natural yogurt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Sweetener (optional, if you prefer it sweeter)
Method of preparation:
Peel the banana and cut it into smaller pieces to make processing easier.
Wash the strawberries and remove the stems, if any, by cutting them in half.
Place all ingredients in a blender: banana, strawberries, natural yogurt and chia seeds.
If you prefer a sweeter flavor, add a little sweetener to taste.
Blend all ingredients in a blender at medium-high speed until you obtain a homogeneous and creamy mixture.
If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water or natural juice to adjust the consistency.
2. Vegetable Omelet
Ingredients:
2 eggs
Handful of fresh spinach, washed and chopped
1 small chopped tomato
1/4 chopped onion
30g white cheese (can be ricotta or other low-fat cheese)
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil to grease the pan
Method of preparation:
In a bowl, beat the eggs until smooth. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
In a non-stick frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
Saute the onion until translucent, add the chopped tomato and spinach. Cook until the spinach wilts.
Spread the vegetables evenly in the pan and pour the beaten eggs on top.
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook over low heat for about 3-4 minutes or until the omelet is set.
Add the white cheese on top of the omelet and fold in half before serving.
3. Oatmeal with Fruit
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup of milk (or water)
1 chopped apple
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Honey or sweetener to taste
Method of preparation:
In a pan, place the oats and milk (or water) and place over medium heat.
Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and absorb the liquid.
Add chopped apple to cooked oatmeal.
Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the mixture and add honey or sweetener to taste for a sweet touch.
Mix everything gently and serve in a bowl, enjoying the hot oats with the fruits.
