The Most Dangerous Negro is an essay by Jacob Silverman regarding the efforts to surveil Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by the F.B.I. and the development of programs like COINTELPRO that were used in the further criminalization of our community.

Through its use and over time all of us in this country has become the most dangerous Negro and will continue to be regarded as such as long as we remain confined within its boundaries.
