Winter Bike Chronicles 3, New Parts for the Drivetrain, willl they last?

November in Edmonton has been really mild and dry. Will I even need my winter bike at all this season?
Reality is that I’m really lucky to have the opportunity to fix the bike this late in the fall, working outside in my backyard.
This video covers the derailleurs, the shifter cables and the chain. Parts that always seem to wear pretty fast. Are there better alternatives?
