US 'expects' Israel to not attack Gaza no-strike zones

The United States expects Israel to avoid attacking areas that Israeli authorities have identified as "no-strike" zones in Gaza, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Monday (December 4), while State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said it was too early to make a "definitive assessment" on whether Israel was heeding calls to protect civilians.
