"Action Against Hamas" IDF Tanks Roll Into South Gaza As Israel Slammed For Bombing "Safe Zones"

The Israeli army said it was taking "aggressive" action against "Hamas and other terrorist organisations" in Khan Younis. Israeli tanks, armoured personnel carriers and bulldozers were also seen in southern Gaza as Israel expands its ground offensive. Hundreds of thousands have sought refuge in the south, following Israel’s bombardment and ground offensive in north Gaza.

Germany urged "realistic" protection to civilians in the Gaza Strip, saying "Too many civilians have already been killed in this war". Israel Defence Forces' operations to the north of the Gaza Strip are "almost complete", according to a top Israeli general. Hamas has put out a statement heavily criticising the International Criminal Court (ICC) after its chief visited Israel on Dec. 3. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the Israeli PM “will be tried” for war crimes over the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
