Spangled Coquette Bird

This very rare coquette was one of the biggest highlights of the avifauna we experienced in Ecuador. The bird itself is only 6 cm that sometimes makes you mistake it for a bumblebee or an nearby insect. It is only seen in 3 provinces in
Ecuador but super rarely and depending on the season.
