The new UAW contract with Stellantis will mean changes

Union officials pressed the automaker on improving their aging facilities and moving workers from a tiered pay-scale to full union pay. The automaker is now looking to combine it's metro Detroit Mopar Parts distribution centers into one. The UAW contract calls for a 30-million dollar investment into a new plant that will combine parts centers in Center Line and Warren and it may be constructed in a rural area due to its size.
