Monster Mud Sarcophagus

This is a Sculpture and Expanded Practice module creation for a BA Honors Degree in Fine Art at NCAD (National College of Art and Design, Dublin) Created just before 2019 when Covid arrived. This project is part of a modern style Ancient Egyptian Tomb. Called "The Anthropocene Tomb". The Sarcophagus was placed within the buried tomb under a staircase at NCAD. Where the scene was very dark. You had to use a flashlight and walk among the items placed in the dark tomb. After receiving an "A" I was very pleased with the final Presentation. All the items for this display were reused old materials except for the bucket of Joint Compound and paint to finish the sculptures. Background Music was created for each sculptured item as a video of building each item was created. Music and Artwork created by Kenneth Ruxton
