The Kent County Sheriff's Office took kids shopping for their annual Shop with a Sheriff.

Over 130 elementary school students and their families took part. Undersheriff Chuck DeWitt says it's a way they can give back and give children a chance to see them as people. He adds the event that has been going on for more than two decades also helps to build stronger communities.
