The bill offers jail time and fines of $25,000 for individual animal rights protesters who trespass and occupy farms. Organizations would be subject to fines of up to $100,000.
‘I couldn't be happier about it because it is not just about the rights of farmers to do our jobs and feed this country, but this is a property rights issue. Our farms are also our homes,’ said Sheila.
