Scraping down ridges between sittings for a smoother surface and follow-up on wet into dry areas

QUESTIONS: Could you explain more about scraping down after a painting session? I’ve heard of people doing this but have never done it myself. How do you scrape off the ridges without messing up the still wet passages you just painted? KEVIN
