Airplane freezes solid on runway

Activity at Munich Airport was brought to an abrupt halt this past weekend, as planes fell foul of the severe winter storm that has been battering the country. The surreal spectacle of one plane frozen solid to the runway was caught on camera and posted to X, leading to a barrage of internet users suggesting the plane might have been on its way to this year’s climate conference in Dubai.
