REAL WORRY AUSTRALIAN JOURNALISTS SIGN ANTI ISRAEL PETITION
The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says it is a “real worry” that more than 300 journalists in the Australian media have put their name to the anti-Israel petition.The petition calls for Israel to be treated the same as the terrorist group Hamas, when dealing with unverified information. Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Chris Kenny this has “damaged the media industry significantly”.
“I think it put us in a very bad light.“I worry what the Australian public thinks of the media.”
