Some say we should “never judge a book by its cover”; we say, “never judge a thief by the car they drive”. These thieves used a red Tesla in their Amazon package heist and the Z1 officers were here for it. On October 24, 2022, at 6:30 a.m., Atlanta responded to a burglar in a business call at 904 Huff Rd. The 911 caller advised that two males were stealing packages from the property and loading them up in a red Tesla sedan. When the officer’s arrived on scene, they observed a red Tesla Model 3 with the trunk open and packages visible. Two males matching the description were with the vehicle and wearing gloves.
