Watch the charming moment as Gustaff Growlithe Gallifrey the Third, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, encounters his first tennis ball.

At the beginning of the video, Gustaff can be seen jumping wildly around the tennis ball, unsure for what purpose it serves. The dog just lays on the wooden floor and watches the ball with suspicion. Gustaff seems afraid of the small yellow ball and observes it with hesitation.

Then, he accidentally kicks the ball as his paw forces the ball to start rolling. The curious puppy then follows the ball and bashes it with his barks, happy that it didn’t threaten his safety.

We all have a metaphorical tennis ball in our lives, one that enraptures and terrifies us and one that forces us to lock horns with ourselves but ultimately makes us better and stronger. This tiny Corgi is mesmerized by its appearance and isn’t sure how the ball works. Do I lick it? Do I bite it? The confused puppy is overwhelmed with happiness and yet stands puzzled before the round yellow object.

It is adorable to watch him trying to befriend the ball, while being cautious to not get hurt!
