Atomic Bomb Blast: "Survival Town" Blown To Pieces

Atomic bomb testing in the Nevada desert. The effects of the atomic blast and radiation were of great study and interest, giving insightful information on how to better build and prepare for such events. This research required the fabrication of several buildings and structures made from different material such as wood, concrete, steel, and aluminum placed at varying distances from the center of atomic bomb blast. Mannequins were placed outside and within the houses, along with canned food, television sets, furniture etc. as part of this this testing and research.
