Tbilisi Walks: Tunnel Under Heydar Aliyev Park

Not everyone knows that a small pier with a cafe on the right bank of the #Kura River in the #Abanotubani district connects to a long #tunnel leading to the #Leghvtakhevi gorge, passing beneath Vakhtang Gorgasali Street and Heydar Aliyev Park. Sometimes this tunnel is closed when river waters flood part of the passage during rainy weather. However, in this #Tbilisi video, the weather is perfect, and we will descend into this tunnel from the riverside and walk through it, emerging once again in the Leghvtakhevi gorge.
