25 November 2023, SaturdayBlood sugar – 13910am – BM (been a while).1pm- Lunch. 2 eggs. 2 Bacon.7pm – Bag of popcorn
26 November 2023, SundayBlood sugar – 113Still feeling full from the popcorn last night.No lunch or dinner today.11:30pm BM. Not much….but at least something.
27 November 2023, MondayBlood sugar – 11110am – 2 eggs scrambled. 3 bacon.1pm – Lunch. Tortilla soup. 6:30pm – Dinner. Fajita, refried beans, rice.7:15pm – BM.
28 November 2023, TuesdayBlood sugar – 1215:30pm – Dinner. Haven’t eaten all day. Have not been hungry at all. Normally I’d help myself to a hefty portion of roast and gravy but I’ve learned that I can only handle about ¼ of what my portions used to be. Had a couple spoonfuls of mashed potato. Terrible gas all day. Both ends!
29 November 2023, WednesdayBlood sugar - 1236am – 2 egg cheese omelet and 3 slices of SPAM.1:30pm – BM. Not solid but not diarrhea. Feeling full today.6pm – Dinner. 2 bratwurst. 1 on a bun.
30 November 2023, ThursdayBlood sugar – 1209am – Breakfast. 2 eggs.6:30pm – Dinner 10 oz steak. Spoonful of potato.
1 Dec 2023, Friday - End of Week 4 and start of week 5 on Monjarao 2.5mgWeek 4 update:Blood sugar high: 139 (Saturday – Thanksgiving leftovers!)Blood sugar low: 111Blood sugar average this week (week 3): 121.1Blood sugar average last week (week 2): 123.2Blood sugar average: -2.1 from last weekStarting blood sugar: 474 (Down 352.9 since starting Mounjaro)Weight this week (Week 3): 180.6 lbsWeight last week (Week 2): 178.8 lbsGain/loss: + 1.8 lbsSleep – Pretty much stopped waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I’ve gone from 2-3 times a night to almost zero. I only woke up once this week at 4am to use the bathroom. I’m feeling very rested now. I’m no longer ready for bed at 7 or 8pm. Mood – Continued success! There’s been a few times this week that something happened in my life that would have made me lose my temper just a month ago. Instead, I’ve been calm and collected. The idiots that I’m forced to share the roads with no longer make me as angry as I used to get. BMs have been inconsistent. Good and bad. Constipation and very loose stools. Not exactly diarrhea. Does your body ever adjust and get back to normal on Mounjaro. Is this something I’m just going to have to get used to while on this stuff?No headaches or queasiness this week.I’m eating far less. When I do reach for a snack it’s an apple, peanuts, and once this week, a bag of pop-corn. Weirdly, I’ve not drank a diet coke since I started on this stuff. I used to get a thirst that only a diet coke could quench. Don’t even think about it now. Coffee in the morning. Water and water mixed with an sugar-free electrolyte is my go-to now.I do get a bloated feeling quite often now. Even when I haven’t eaten anything in a while.
