Why listen to this Sacred Scripture series?

Listening is not an alternative for Catholics who according to myth don't read Sacred Scripture

Reading the Word of God each day should remain the primary goal

When the power and internet grids go down indefinitely, there will be no substitute for the peace, wisdom, courage and comfort sourced from a hard copy of the Douay Rheims and a candle

Use this series to transition away now, from online distractions

Listen to this series whenever time and circumstance permit

Be disciplined

Listen before the sun rises at the start of each day with gratitude

"Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you." - St Matthew 6:33

Listen during travel, breaks at work and before sleep

Transition away and be gradually weened from counter-productive worldly distractions (Youtube) that lead to idleness, sloth and effeminacy:

"But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
- St Matthew 12; 36-37

Seek instead wisdom from the exclusive, all-powerful and all-seeing source of all wisdom

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is prudence"
- Proverbs 9:10

Persevere:

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been proved, he shall receive a crown of life, which God hath promised to them that love him." - St Jame 1:12

Abideth in the Lord, the Word incarnate

Become cleansed, healed, more productive and ultimately by God's grace saved

"1 I am the true vine; and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me, that beareth not fruit, he will take away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now you are clean by reason of the word, which I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.

5 I am the vine: you the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.

6 If any one abide not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire, and he burneth.

7.If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done unto you.

8. In this is my Father glorified; that you bring forth very much fruit, and become my disciples."
- St John 15:1-8

The Holy Ghost will guide all who seek the real and substantial presence of the Lord in their life (not simply an idea of God, 'abiding' in their intellect)

He left eternal and infallible real world markers for all those seeking His real and substantial presence:

"and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world."
- St Matthew 28:20

"And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me." - St Luke 22:19

"Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day.
For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him."
- St John 6;54-57

Pursue Truth, Unity and Certainty - His real flesh and blood indeed

Note well:

When listening to the book of Genesis, bear in mind in particular that the Lord Jesus Christ specifically referenced, without deviation from the plain meaning of the text, the Genesis account of creation as well as the account of Noah and the flood (Genesis 2:24 and 5:2; Mark 10:2–7; Matthew 24:37–39) - these are not to be read as quaint allegories open to private interpretation but historic record as universally taught by the Holy Catholic Church (as properly defined) since its institution by the Lord Jesus Christ.
