Today's AWESOME guest is Abby Begeta.

Abby came to Australia from the civil War in Bosnia, as a single mother and refugee, with her two young daughters just before Christmas 1995.

Abby went on to study at Curtin and Griffith Universities where she studied Health Science and Law.

Abby founded a community not-for-profit group, Moving Forward Sunshine Coast.

Abby and her group organise community information events on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and invite eminent speakers from different backgrounds to present on the topic of their expertise. Past speakers include Dr Peter McCullough and Professor Gigi Foster.

Abby was also an Olympic Torchbearer for 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
