Mike Slater of TheFirstTV once coined the phrase "The Great Flattening" which Jesse evidently stole from him. But what does it refer to? The Flattening refers to the developing characteristic homogeneity between men and women. As society 'progresses' we lose the separation of gender and roles as the consequence of masculinity and our important differences.
