Metal Detecting - GP Pointer First Impressions

Well Christmas surprise. The GP pointer, Chinese knock off pin pointer that I ordered over 65 days ago came in today. I just purchased a whites TRX last week so this will be a backup unit (that my 7 year old can carry (Like a boss) on our adventures). My first impression is it feels like a really solid unit and a pretty good buy for $50....and that was Canadian money...so you Americans can pick one up for pocket change...go to the park for a couple hours and treat yourself to a backup pin pointer.
