Republican congressman denies he called Trump 'Orange Jesus'

A Republican congressman has denied accusations from former colleague Liz Cheney that he referred to former President Donald Trump as “Orange Jesus."

Former Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney wrote in her new book, Oath and Honor, that Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) used the nickname while he was lined up to sign a sheet objecting to the electoral votes for the 2020 election, according to an extract shared with CNN.
