Mike Tyson is facing a "pre-litigation settlement demand" for $450,000

Mike Tyson is facing a "pre-litigation settlement demand" for $450,000 from a man who he beat up on a JetBlue flight.

Back in 2022, Tyson was caught on camera beating up passenger, Melvin Townsend.

The man says his life has been hard since the incident and has to deal with "severe headache and neck pain" and "is still suffering with the effects of the assault to this day."

Townsend's lawyers also say he lost several jobs because of the incident and can't pay for ongoing medical care.

Tyson's lawyers say this is just an attempted shakedown.

"I have received a shakedown letter related to some instigator’s harassment of Mike a year ago and the aftermath. There will be no shakedown payment."
