Representative Ralph Norman (R-SC) says Republicans need to urge Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to demand the House’s top-line spending levels in budget negotiations with Senate Democrats. “Hopefully Mike Johnson will relay this to the powers that be in the Senate and walk away,” Rep. Norman says. “The best deal is no deal in this case.”
