BPD and NPD are not the same personality disorder in any or all manifestations and presentations of each. There is a high co-morbidity between those with BPD also being diagnosed with NPD and that, I think, is where so much confusion is caused. BPD NPD Co-morbidity is between 37% - 42% and on the increase, not decrease.
