Woman leaps from window during Detroit shooting that left 2 dead

Detroit police are investigating after a man and woman were shot and killed at a house on the city's west side this morning.  We're told the shooting happened at the home on Quincy and Carter Street around 7:30 a.m. A neighbor says a woman leapt out of a second-story window to escape the gunfire.  "Something told me to get up," said neighbor Stephanie Patron who heard some commotion outside. Patron says she saw the woman on the ground, screaming for help. She tells 7 Action News she wrapped her in a blanket and tried to help her.
