BPD Externalization - Acting Out is Painful For Loved Ones

Externalizing out one's pain in Borderline Personality Disorder can be seen in most online with BPD on Youtube, with Blogs, in many ways. One central way is how most with BPD feel "misunderstood" most of the time. Yet family members, loved ones, friends try so hard to understand BPD. Ironically, it is those with BPD that lack the self-other reference to truly understand not only self but how they effect others in often unintended ways over and over again. People with BPD externalize and blame and severely hurt loved ones and think that everyone is hurting/misunderstanding them. For 75% of people diagnosed with BPD they were traumatized before or by the age of 2 years old, but that keeps being triggered and externalized due to the lost self.
