Ahsoka's showrunner, Dave Filoni, has opened up about the future of one of the show's best characters: Ezra Bridger. Bridger was a character introduced in Star Wars Rebels, created by Filoni himself. Given Ahsoka's status as essentially a sequel to Star Wars Rebels in live-action, Ezra's appearance was all but guaranteed. As of Ahsoka season 1's ending, Ezra's character was left in an interesting place, something that Filoni has spoken about.
