Emotional Detachment - Protect Yourself After a Narcissist
7 years ago
3
Emotional Detachment takes practice and is a skill that involves self-care and developing your emotional interpersonal boundaries. It is observing and not absorbing.
Detachment also helps you to back away from being so reactive. Emotional detachment will help you build the tools and practices to stay calm. When a Narcissist tells you who they are, believe that. Take care of yourself and refuse to continue to be the object of the Narcissists supply.
