Lansing community raises money for food bank

The Capital Area Blues Society and Green Door Bar and Grill partnered for their 14th annual fundraiser and good drive. The event began back in 2004 as a fundraiser for the Capital Area Blue Society, but was later used as a opportunity to help the community as well. The evening featured tons of music from local bands and singers. Those who stopped by were encouraged to bring as many non-perishable food items as they could. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Greater Lansing Food Bank, as well as the Capital Area Blues Society.
