An elderly couple are finally getting rid of dozens of old household appliances

An elderly couple are finally getting rid of dozens of old household appliances -they bought more than HALF A CENTURY ago.....with many still working.

Sydney and Rachel Saunders, 83 and 81, are selling their tumble dryer, boiler, cooker and washing machine which date back to 1956 and have been working faithfully ever since.

Sydney, a retired accountant, believes that 'things were made better' in those days, and Rachel wants the collection to go to a museum to inspire the next generation.
