Give and take about painting out passages versus painting out whole objects to correct a dry area?
QUESTIONS:"Always look at the whole" a painters mantra. I have a question for you, could you talk about repainting an already dry passage? Harold Speed says that "objects" or "Subjects" have to be finished in one sitting, if you can’t manage to do that you should scrape it off and go back at it again. Solomon on the other side talks about "making it more like" with each layer. What’s your opinion on that? how do you deal with a passage you have to keep working on but you run out of time?GABRIEL
