Spyderco Delica M4 Showcase and Unboxing #Spyderco #BladeHQ

Having a Spyderco Delica makes me incredibly hyped! Especially with M4 blade steel and mint green handle scales. This knife is kind of special, as it is the first Delica - ever - that Spyderco released with a TiCN coating. It’s also a BladeHQ exclusive - which means it comes in a small, limited batch.

Instead of a finger choil, The Delica has a ricasso. This way its handle could become a much more efficient finger guard. So you can perform more aggressive cuts without risking your hand. This functionality is also supported by a super-strong backlock mechanism. And despite its small size, the knife still has a large enough handle so I can have a comfortable grip.

The Delica is made in Seki City, Japan, and arrives in this Spyderco box, alongside some literature and a sticker. Long evolution made this knife one of the best compact EDC folders I have ever seen. The one that I got is the 4th generation of the Delica design, and it blows my mind that Spyderco started selling these knives way back in 1990 - long before I was even born.
