Caberfae peaks ski resort in Cadillac is preparing to open for the season this coming weekend, but things have slowed them up and they are asking for the public’s help.
After losing power three times in five days, the resort lost a lot of time running their snowmaking machines, and they are blaming the power company.
Caberfae is now asking the public to file a complaint against Consumers Energy with the Michigan Public Service Commission.
The resort claims frequent power outages are due to outdated power lines that the utility company “refuses to make a priority.”
