Beehive Heater Check -- January cold weather returns and the bees are still warm as bugs in a rug.
Quick Beehive heater check. January cold weather returns but the bees are warm.
I realized after I made this video I left all of the ventilation open on the hives which was causing the heater to work really hard to keep the temp up. I have since closed off all but one of the ventilation holes in each one of the hives and the hives are now within one degree of their set point of 64 degrees.
